Future Trill Bass
Future Screw Friday 9/27
Screw Headz, Lean Enthusiasts, Codeine Aficionados…..Welcome to yet another Future Screw Friday!! This week we have a brand new admin, SofaKing, joining the ranks, as well as a feature on the one and only $ines Tour throughout Texas, and of course all your new purple trill favorite treats. So you know the deal, light the blunt already. Get comfy, cuz if you cant chill out to these tunes I dont know wtf to tell ya – Trill
Well I have no idea who or what this person is about, but they put out hella tracks! Sit back and smoke one to this.
Of course SubxChronic come through with the dope shit. I swear I feel like I share a brain with these guys, every time Im about to do my thing with a track they beat me to it…
Wether you call him Tuscanooga,Tug, Grim, or just plain ol “McNa$ty” this kids killin it. His production is all over the place so he’s got somthin for errrryone.
Once again this Japanese badass comes through with that codeine trill.
First time hearing from this guy, but if this mix tells you anything, its that he’s got style. This is “part 2″ so lets hope to hear a “part 3″.
My fellow Future Screw Crew alumni, China Alarm, has been really puttin out alot of screw lately. I chose my favorite, but theres sooo much more. Get your asses over to his SoundCloud, and pick your fav too.
Houston native and Freshmore label head, $ines, came out with his new EP this week, out on Filthy Fortune Records. The EP includes 2 original tracks, 5 remixes, and 1 of $ines’ signature “Slowed and Throwed” edits. This whole EP is huge, so I suggest you go cop it for free ASAP.
Besides just the EP, $ines has been making a lot of moves lately in regards to touring. I’ve had the pleasure of organizing a show with him at my weekly bass music event, Subsonic Indulgence, in Denton, TX, on October 3rd. I don’t know if there are any DFW Trapstyle readers out there, but if there are this is one show you don’t want to miss.
Check out the event page here:
This next one isn’t exactly full of 808s, but it’s so wavvy and so Drakey that I couldn’t help but include it. And come on. It’s fucking Kastle.
L Λ W N M O W H E R
This track is a bit more on the chill side, but that doesn’t mean you can sleep on it! Producer of all things wavey, L Λ W N M O W H E R, does it again with this lovely beat. The texture on it is just amazing, and it’s available on his SoundCloud now for free download.
An awesome screwed take on a current favorite track of mine, from none other than look. of the STYLSS crew out of Portland. Big ups, look. I see you.
This one’s been out for a hot minute now, but seeing as how it hasn’t been on trapstyle yet, I had to post it. All the homies involved in this track are from my hometown of Dallas as well, so I had to show some love. Blaze up and enjoy.
Y’all may recognize Dave Luxe from a past Future Screw Friday, but here he is again, refixing Future’s latest single “Honest” to full effect.
Texas duo and Fool’s Gold signees, Bames, are at it again, this time providing a lush and bass-heavy remix of Wonda’s “When The Drums Come In At 208.” Keep an eye on these guys.
Well that wraps things up for this week’s Future Screw Friday. I chose to showcase a lot of artists that have shown love to me personally and the Future Screw/Trillwave movement in general. A lot of Texas love as well I’m going to leave you this week with a preview from a forthcoming mix from the Future Screw Crew that will showcase our mixing, as well as tracks from the Future Screw Crew: Purple Summer Compilation, which you can get here:
Much love, everyone. Peace! - Sofa
