The final installment of the Man On The Moon trilogy is on the way. Kid Cudi took to twitter and initially stated that he couldn’t, and wouldn’t make MOTM3 without Plain Pat, Emile Haynie and A-Trak. A-Trak, Haynie, Plain Pat, Dot Da Genius, MGMT, Ratatat, and more contributed to Cudi’s debut album Man on the Moon: The End of Day, the first in the trilogy. The concept album is considered to be a critically acclaimed success, praised for it’s exceptional composition and unique take on a hip-hop record. It also received three Grammy nominations and has since been certified Gold. He also includes that Dot Da Genius, MGMT, and Ratatat are in the list of collaborators he plans to work with on Man on the Moon III. Many of the artists Cudi mentioned, including A-Trak and Plain Pat, replied enthusiastically, and it looks like they’ve started work, according to a photo Cudi tweeted of himself and Emile Haynie in the studio.
