Giraffage (Charlie Yin) of Fools Gold Records packed the house at Exit/In in Nashville, Tennessee on his No Reason Tour. Giraffage’s unique blend of Future Bass/Dreamy/Sexual/Cool music captured the cultured minds of the Nashville dance elite. His set was not only visually appealing, it was also mentally stimulating. It started off slow then cascaded into a musical bliss of jam-packed, head bobbing tunes that had the entire club bumping and grinding. Giraffage mixes between two computers and masters the DJ/Producer roll incredibly well. He closed out the night with a beautiful remix of Alice Deejay’s “Better Off Alone” that confirmed my decision to check out Giraffage over the Borgore show down the road. I sincerely hope that I speak for the masses when I say that I cannot wait for Giraffage’s return in Music City.
