Koreatown’s finest, Far East Movement, have been changing the face of pop music since their “Like a G6” hit number one on the Billboard Top 100 almost a half decade ago. Not only was the tune the first by an Asian-American act to top the charts, its effortless confluence of hip-hop, pop, and dance served as a bellwether of the rampant genre-mashing that was about to blow the musical landscape to smithereens.
