Trap heavyweights NGHTMRE and LUMINOX graced CONTROL Friday’s at Avalon in Hollywood with their massive bass presence. History went down last weekend in Los Angeles when NGHTMRE performed his first ever headlining show at CONTROL. NGHTMRE, who’s most recent song “Street” has been dropped by nearly every DJ, at nearly every festival this summer, was eager to hit the stage and bring the house down. However, before NGHTMRE could take the stage, the crowd was gifted with a legitimate opening set by CODES. New York native, CODES, was able to warm up the crowd with a solid deep and future house set, properly building up the tension for NGHTMRE to take over.
The line of fans outside continued to grow with anticipation to see their favorite artists throw down. Once the doors opened, the fans began to storm in to Avalon’s notable theatre-like venue. The venue quickly began to fill up by the minute. It was definitely a night that will be remembered in Avalon history. The venue was packed wall to wall with a thick crowd of party goers eager to kick off their weekend with a bang. As the headliners hungout backstage the gathering of partygoers on the floor continued to reach full capacity. From the corner of the stage, NGHTMRE steps up onto the booth and is greeted with a roar of applause from the crowd. The rest is history…
