The month of July saw Corona’s trailblazing event series Electric Beach take on Las Vegas with everyone from Skrillex to Diplo taking over Wynn’s Encore Beach club, a Sunday takeover of Chicago’s Roof On theWIT with Mad Decent stars TWRK, and an upscale 4th of July with funk duo Chromeo at the Hamptons’ Surf Lodge. We hope you’re not partied our just yet, for August is shaping up to be another jam packed month with Electric Beach. They’ll be taking things back to Cali to launch their Los Angeles summer series with their buzzworthy friends Love Taps, Bee’s Knees, Speaker Of The House, and SNBRN who will be fresh off a debut performance at Lollapoloza, Sunday, August 9th at Mondrian at West Hollywood’s breezy Skybar.
Electric Beach is at the forefront of must-see EDM events, enlisting larger than life talent for each stop along the tour. From the start, their flair for curating DJ events has been spot on – attracting major players including Diplo, Funkagenda, Sunnery & Ryan, with wildly successful residencies in New York and Las Vegas, and creative pop-ups from LA to Miami’s Art Basel.
Corona launched the 2015 festivities during Cinco de Mayo weekend with legendary DJ/producer David Guetta spinning his hits for the epic pool party for ages 21-plus. Continuing the summer heat, Electric Beach brought out Skrillex, Avicii, RL Grime, TJR, Diplo, and more, for beat driven fun in the sun. This upcoming weekend, Vegas will play host to DJ Snake on August 1st.
Outside of Vegas, Electric Beach took a break from the desert heat to head back to the midwest to launch it’s Chicago residency last month at Roof On theWit with comic book crusader DJ Whiiite with support from Main Course rising stars Love Taps. They’ll continue their summer in the windy city with raucous big room star AN21 who will be turning Roof On theWit into an all out riot on Sunday, August 16th. Moving farther east, Electric Beach has teamed up with Fool’s Gold for a day long event at NYC waterfront venue La Marina on August 1st. Dubbed Uptown Fool’s, this party will host a full cast of Fool’s Gold friends and family including superproducer Just Blaze, Athletixx (Hoodboi, Falcons, Kitten Promnite), Fool’s Gold co-founder Nick Catchdubs, Nick Hook, and A$AP Ferg’s tour DJ TJ MIzell.
