The verdict is in, Shambhala is the greatest f**king festival in the world. From the moment to drive onto the dirt road up into the sacred farm you feel the energy over take you. From the stage design, to the festival layout, to the kindhearted loving staff members there is not one negative thing I can say about this festival. It really is something everyone must attended at least once in your life. But I promise once you go once you will return back each and every year, continuing to count down the days until your return. It will not only open your heart but it will lift your spirits and take you mind to a higher place, a place than is greater than yourself, a place filled with love, compassion, and hope. This was my second year attending Shamb and it seems to keep getting better and better. I cannot wait to see what they have in store for 2016 and years to come. This years lineup was
one of the best I saw out any festival in 2015 featuring the likes of Skrillex, Datsik, Kygo, Jauz, Tipper, and the of course the hometown hero Excision. The music began early in the afternoon Thursday and did not stop till Monday morning. For me personally the Shalmo River that runs through the sacred farm is the end all be all. There is truly nothing else in the world that compares to listening to some funky beats while floating down the river with 20 of your best friends. If all this does not convince you that there is truly nothing else in the world like Shambhala I don’t know what will. This is the people’s festival. This is the king of all festivals.
