Imagine being immersed in a world of sound. Your own personal party, anywhere you want, any time, at the click of a button. I was in the market for a new subwoofer but my only set back was the fact that I have roommates. Producing music late at night would wake them up, so I scoured the internet to find the perfect solution. After searching YouTube, Google, and Guitar Center I found my answer in the least likely of places. A friend of mine at Icon Collective told me about The SubPac. He described it as a backpack with a subwoofer.
I was in disbelief, how was this possible? How could you have professional yet portable subwoofer for under $400? That’s unheard of! I had to try it my self and hit up another buddy who owns one of these. I went over, tried it on; and that was it. Game over. I needed one of those in my life. Shortly after I hit up SubPac.com and put my order in. After patiently waiting for my unit to arrive I was pleased to see the packaging and quality of the unit is highly durable.
I ended up going with the M2 because I was ready to take my mixing game to the next level. It’s a little pricey but totally worth it. I can mix-down a track anywhere I want. At a coffee shop, on my lunch at work, at a park, you get the deal. Now here comes the added bonus. One day I realized….this is a fricken sound system! I popped in my copy of Jedi Returns and strapped my SubPac into place. This thing blew my mind, it was like seeing Star Wars at a theatre but I was in my house. *mind blown*
