FreeFall – Unorthodox (Original Mix)

The Bay Area native has left us a treat once again. If you’re not familiar with the name FreeFall we assure you’re going to be hooked on his soundcloud after you hear his new original track ‘Unorthodox’. The young producer has been rising in popularity for his signature bass house sound. Following in the footsteps of Jauz, Ghastly, and Drezo it is not long till we see the producer share the stage with his idols. This single is part of Audiophile’s XXL 1-yr anniversary. Along with ‘Unorthodox’ there are tracks by Aaron Jackson, Mind Cntrl, and Callie Reiff.

Lets dig into the tune itself, it starts off aggressively as the kick drum begins to thump our heart beats.  Along with the rising and dark bassline we hear come into it reveals to us the theme of this song. The build comes into play as the snares and risers kickoff the intensity that translates into a smooth filtered growl prepared to rumble our rib cages. Unorthodox fits the song completely as all traditional house rules are thrown out the window. The style of this tune is both filthy and groovy, the producer nails the combination on the head. If you don’t take our word for it go listen for yourself.

The song is out now exclusively on JunoDownload via Audiophile XXL
