Insomniac Launches New Revolutionary Underground Brand

Today, Insomniac announced that they will be returning to their roots with their new, exciting brand, Factory 93. At the center of this new brand will be the sounds of techno, deep house, and tech house in order to foster a new underground warehouse scene in Los Angeles. They will be hosting an event in May to launch the new brand, where some killer headliners are set to take the stage.

The founder and CEO of Insomniac, Pasquale Rotella, wants to bring people back to those feelings of the ’90’s. The first ever insomniac event was thrown in ’93, hence the name Factory 93. Rotella and his team want to recreate the feelings of those first Insomniac events where underground raves were thriving. He said,

“I’ve loved warehouse parties since the day I walked into one as a youngster. The way the bass rattles the metal and reverberates through the walls, the condensation that forms on the ceiling from all the heat and energy in the room. Those experiences changed my life and made me want to devote my life to dance music. I couldn’t be more excited to go back to my roots with Factory 93. It’s a project the whole Insomniac crew is extremely passionate about.”

The event will feature Hot Since 82, Santé b2b Sidney Charles, and special guest Doc Martin. When asked about the event, Hot Since 82 said,

“I love playing in LA, there’s such an exciting buzz around new underground music,” said Hot Since 82’s Daley Padley. “It’s an honor to host Knee Deep In Los Angeles at the opening of this new warehouse space downtown!”
