Lightning In A Bottle, or LIB for short, brought to you by the Do Lab is quickly becoming one of the biggest transformational festivals in the country. Having attended last year with a group of die hard friends for the first time, my pineal gland was opened and I learned so much about myself as well as this planet we call home. Lightning will forever be one of the best experiences of my life so I look forward to this year’s festivities.
With the festival slowly creeping on us from 4 months away, the initial lineup is out and it has some doozies. The first name that calls your attention is wookie-overlord Bassnectar, the reigning king of all psychedelic bass music will return to LIB on the lightning stage. Not to keep the focus on one person, many other HUGE artists are playing such as Bonobo, Kaytranada, Richie Hawtin and others are set to fill the air with their sounds. Let’s not forget some of the other additions I plan on checking out such as TroyBoi, edIT, Calyx & Teebee plus a big b2b set with ill.Gates and Stephen Jacobs.
