Audiotistic Festival Revives Itself In Great Fashion

For a day full of optimism, Insomniac Events brought back the Audiotistic Festival. Since being discontinued back in 2011, the brand held strong but many concert-goers were doubtful as far as how the event itself would turn out. I must say, my first impression was amazed.

In pure awe, this show went from a massive to feeling like a pure festival. This felt like a pure festival in which I was not expecting. The lineup that was curated couldn’t have been any better. The biggest statement of the night was house music is very much alive. The sub genres taken a huge hit over the years for the generic label it’s been given lately. The G-house community has been growing stronger and acts such as Chevy Chase, Habstrakt, Ghastly, and Joyryde has strong sets. The crowd was fully engaged all night and headliners Slander, NGHTMRE, Flosstradamus, and Marshmello left the crowd in an uproar.

Overall, the venue, lineup, and set up was coordinated extremely well. I think many fans were satisfied and hope for the return of Audiotistic next year.
