Baytek drops feel good future bass anthem ‘Anchor’ ft Cyrus

Baytek has become a name to watch in Australian bass music over the last few years. We first heard him way back in 2014 with Taking Over Me, which made quite a lot of traction copping remixes from Wongo, Francis XavierLolo BX, Pantheon & Colour Castle. Since then, Baytek has continued to deliver, dropping remix after remix on his Soundcloud over the last few years, never straying too far from the hard hitting house vibes. The release of his RISE EP late last year garnered a solid amount of support, with the first track, Deadbeat, copping an exclusive premiere from the big guns at NEST HQ.

For his latest release Anchor featuring Cyrus, released on Unknown Records, Baytek steps a little out of the deep house vibes we’ve grown used to hearing, bringing a tight, fresh future bass track with some incredibly catchy vocal hooks. Anchor has already secured plenty of support, with plays on Triple J, and a premiere on Earmilk. No doubt we’ll be hearing a lot of this one around the place in coming months.

Is this future bass sound a new direction for Baytek? Personally, I hope so because he’s absolutely nailed it with Anchor.
