It has been a few days since Skrillex broke the internet with his remix of Kendrick Lamar’s HUMBLE, and Soundcloud has been flooded with producers spinning their own take on the remix. It’s official lads, edit season is in full effect!
Amongst this ocean of HUMBLE edits, one super interesting version has swelled up, and surfing this wave is none other than Melbourne producers Zeal and Laces. This cute little flip is bursting with enough energy to break necks, bounce booties and potentially start fires. The producers have done an awesome job incorporating some juicy breakbeat builds and thumping club kicks that contrasts really nicely with a heavy, gritty drop, culminating in a super fun edit that has something for everyone. Clocking in at just above 2 minutes long, this edit hits fast and hard before abruptly ending, leaving us thirsting for more, much like your favourite amusement park rollercoaster.
