The one and only Deadmau5 has a new track in the works revealed by the latest recap video from his lots of show in a row tour.
With his latest tour coming to a close after Halloween, Zimmerman’s label mau5trap shared a recap of the only U.S. stop on his Canada exclusive leg of his tour: Red Rocks. The video, crafted by Leah Sems, showcases the day of the Deadmau5 concert including the technical set-up for the production, fan interactions with their musical idol, and ending with incredible cuts of the show itself. Although fans can hear Deadmau5’s latest single “Legendary” in the first half of the video, the second half showcased a new song that has yet to see a release.
Titled “A Seed”, the song traverses away from the Mau5’s signature progressive house roots and his latest hip-hop oriented ideas. Instead, this new production embodies elements of trip-hop and experimental electronica that continue to prove that Deadmau5 continues to innovate and that his music constantly evolves.
