There’s something refreshing about stepping into a building that is almost a century old built with sophisticated architecture and timeless design for a massive NYE celebration. The MacArthur  was home to this years Minimal Effort NYE spectacle that featured two dance floors on the lower level and two massive ballrooms hosting only the best in underground House and Techno. It’s safe to say that Underrated Presents has out done themselves yet again.

With powerhouse players like Justin Martin, Jimmy Edgar, and J Phlip taking over the upstairs master ballroom, it was a party in and of itself. The ambiance throughout was vivid and soaked in positive energy as the House beats pulsed in abundance. As you you walked down you could indulge in the authentic Techno vibes that Maya Jane Cole, DJ Tennis, and more we’re bringing into the night.

Let’s not forget about Culprit main heads Droog and Oona Dahl taking over their very own themed stage. This was the change of pace you needed in between sets that brought the foreign take on pulsing four on the floor beats.

All in all, keep your eyes on Minimal Effort as they will be coming back with yet another edition later this year. Could be in March, could be summer, could even be Halloween, guess you’ll just have to wait and see whats next.
