With COVID-19 running rampant in today’s music, live entertainment companies like S.A.F.E. continue to provide fans with an experience featuring their favorite artists from home in the virtual festival, known as the S.A.F.E. Virtual Music Festival. Brought to you by Twitch, featuring over 50 a-list acts of some of the biggest and brightest names in Dance. Fans will enjoy in-home entertainment starring the likes of ALRT, WAVES, Danny Quest and many more.
The creation of S.A.F.E. is to provide a safe environment to enjoy live music experience with the negative environment often associated with the live entertainment experience. Safety is main purpose behind the festival which is often attended by impressionable youth.
S.AF.E was founded in 2017 by Duke Rumely after his daughter had an experience with the pressure of drug and alcohol use at concert. Duke knew there was a desperate need to create sober safe zones at music festivals, concerts, and major sporting events across the nation, for individuals not just in recovery but for others looking to have fun without being surrounded by drinking and drugs. S.AF.E has hosted sober sections and sober tailgates at events for over 4,000 people. S.AF.E has partnered with the NBA, NHL, MLB, multiple universities, and music venues.
Virtual festivals are the new wave for both artists and music fans alike. With a pandemic keeping us from enjoying the live music atmosphere, it’s awesome to have outlets that emulate the energy from the comfort of your home.
The virtual festival takes place Wed, May 6, 2020, 3:00 PM – Sunday, May 10, 2020, 8:00 PM EDT
