Has Calvin Harris Released The Best Pop Album of 2017?

The most talked about album of 2017 so far has just dropped and it was definitely worth the hype. The fifth and probably most different album from Calvin Harris includes an exciting feature list, funk influence, and nearly 40 mins of memorable tunes. Below I will talk about my favourites from the album, not in any particular order. “Slide” Featuring Frank Ocean & Migos The first single released from the album -and definitely a strong one- is very memorable, fun and energetic. Purple Thursday 10/3

There are two types of people in this world, 1.) Those who listen to music screwed and 2.) Those who are missing out. It’s deeper than music though and that is what I want Purple Thursday to be about, just not a type of music but a whole culture in its own right. Holdin’ On will be available to download November 8th, more »

Kaskade Reveals Hypocrisy Over Media’s Hype Against EDM

Kaskade Reveals Hypocrisy Over Media’s Hype Against EDM Due To Recent Overdose Outbreak Recently there has been a lot of negative hype against EDM due to recent overdoses at festivals, such as, Electric Zoo and Zedd’s Clarity tour which kicked off with one dead and two hospitalized. In his most recent twitter rant, Kaskade compares the recent molly overdoses at electronic music festivals to alcohol-related deaths at sporting events.
