Listen To The Huge Collab From Holly, Crimes!, Yunis, and Chee Via LA90

LA90

This all star line up on one track is clearly evident in the bass work these producers are known for. Chee, Holly, Crimes!, and Yunis have blessed us with this extraordinary collaboration via LA90 Music and it is undoubtedly one of the best tracks to come out in 2017. For some this track might not be as palatable or “straight forward” for others with a unique taste, it is pure gold.  The style of production these four producers posses is otherworldly, their broken beat – like style and abstract sound design has come through so well on this work of more »

Meet Deadenders, a new LA bass duo who sound anything but what their name suggests. This group may only have been visible for a couple months, but their first two releases would make you think they’ve been lurking in the industry for much longer. Pulling in 17k soundcloud streams on these tracks, these “two guys having a good time” have hit the ground running in quite an impressive way. Creative high energy sound design, clean and crisp mixes, and an attention to flow really set Deadenders apart from the early days of most projects. They not only demand your attention, more »

Baytek drops feel good future bass anthem ‘Anchor’ ft Cyrus

Baytek

Baytek has become a name to watch in Australian bass music over the last few years. We first heard him way back in 2014 with Taking Over Me, which made quite a lot of traction copping remixes from Wongo, Francis Xavier, Lolo BX, Pantheon & Colour Castle. Since then, Baytek has continued to deliver, dropping remix after remix on his Soundcloud over the last few years, never straying too far from the hard hitting house vibes. The release of his RISE EP late last year garnered a solid amount of support, with the first track, Deadbeat, copping an exclusive premiere from the big guns at NEST HQ. For more »

Over the past few weeks, Rezz has been building up hype for her album in different ways. We heard much of the album released as singles, as well as the announcement of a tour. The first four songs on it followed a one-per-week release pattern during the month of July on each Friday. Now, the hype built has reached its peak and the album is finally here in full. However, some might call the latest remix a return to their roots, which could mean exciting material for fans during this tour. The tour begins in more »

‘What You Know’ about Troyboi’s new single?

UK trap lord Troyboi has just released a new single titled “What You Know“. An established artist in the bass scene, Troyboi has helped push trap music forward throughout the years with his unique style, but this track feels pretty left-field, even for him! The first thing I noticed about this track was the ridiculously loud saw-wave synths that attacked me with murderous intent, and the lack of an overpowering 808 bassline that we’ve come to love and expect from all things trap. Troyboi is no stranger to wild and aggressive synth stabs, but usually these are relegated to a more »
