HARD Summer Releases Comedic Trailer While Delivering A Strong Message

HARD Summer Music Festival has become known for releasing these outrageous trailers year round. Always taking things to a comedic side while including the festivals biggest acts on the lineup. This year as many were expecting the same, Gary Richards decided to switch it up and tackle an issue that many have come to encounter. The lack of Female DJs and Producers is uncanny, there is so much talent all over the world and to address such a topic is not only bold, but amazing. HARD Events is sticking it to the talent buyers for other festivals in support of more »

Destructo Brings Holiday Gifts [FREE DOWNLOAD]

The holidays around this time are ones of family and giving. Well Destructo gave the music world a pair of slamming remixes from Party Favor and Convex. While his original “Catching Plays” with Wax Motif featuring Pusha T and Starrah is a G-House banger, the tunes from Trap and Bass lord Party Favor as well as up and comer Convex are definitely geared towards bass heavy music. Party Favor gave us a jungle/trap flip that is sure to hype up any crowd. The song lets the vocals take the intro, creating a heavy atmosphere for the tune. The drop brings more »

HARD Announces Debut Hawaii Lineup

HARD events has been progressing their brand further with each event they throw. Albeit their name seems to get thrown around alot with some turmoil attached, no one can argue that their carefully curated lineups aren’t the most attractive thing in the festival circuit. Without time to organize the HARD Day Of The Dead event this year due to moving to a new venue, HARD has been able to put together a special event for our Hawaiian friends across the Pacific Ocean. Taking place at the Hawaii Country Club on December 17th, HARD will bring out a collection of genre more »

Destructo Takes Over Avalon Hollywood with E-40, Too Short + More [Photo Gallery]

This past Friday, October 14th, Destructo’s Renegade Tour landed at the Avalon Hollywood dance floor for a night fueled by G-House and Hip-Hop. From throwbacks like E-40’s “Tell Me When To Go” to the Destructo x Wax Motif collab, “Catching Plays”, it was like stepping into the Power 106 edition of  2003 all over again with a modern twist. What made for a dope night can’t be fully put more »

Destructo & Wax Motif Go Full G-House Featuring Pusha T & Starrah

The godfather of HARD events, Destructo, is back with his signature G-House sound in collaboration with Australia’s very own Wax Motif featuring Pusha T & Starrah. “Catching Plays” is riding the huge wave of momentum that arose after his latest work “4Real” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and iLoveMakonnen which also embodies the G-House aesthetic. This Hip-Hop and House hybrid sound that Destructo is pushing is refreshingly innovative as it fuses two completely different worlds and Catching Plays is a solid representation of that. Destructo will also be kicking off The Renegade Tour September 15th in Denver and touching down in Los Angeles, New York, Portland, Houston, and a more »

Destructo – Techno (C&T Remix) [FREE DL]

C&T (aka Che Johnson & Tyler Morris), hailing from New York, NY, have taken a stab at remixing Destructo’s newest single “Techno”. The original track, at 112 BPM, offers a heavy hitting, driving bass with the repeated phrase “nobody listen to techno”. This is very much in a style similar to the origins of techno, making use of simply a bass and some vocals, and creating an infectious groove with those elements. Destructo is definitely making reference to the origins of house music and how much it has changed in recent years by incorporating the repeated phrase, “nobody listens to techno”. more »
