Rezz Releases Her Highly Anticipated Debut Album

Over the past few weeks, Rezz has been building up hype for her album in different ways. We heard much of the album released as singles, as well as the announcement of a tour. News of the album came unexpectedly only a month before its release. It was titled Mass Manipulation and is relatively short for an LP at eight tracks. The first four songs on it followed a one-per-week release pattern during the month of July on each Friday. Now, the hype built has reached its peak and the album is finally here in full. One lingering fear about more »

Scissors Burst the Pop Music Bubble [FREE DOWNLOAD]

“Face the facts” – as they say. Well “they” actually don’t show their faces but what they do show, is a great taste in music. They call themselves “Scissors” and they just droped a remix of LA producer Nathaniel Knows’s single “Do You Even”. From the forward moving Electro original, the track received an allover renovation to fit into the newer future bass genre. The song takes the elements of the original and elevates them to an existence beyond that of your average remix. To take something and give it a new energy is a wonderful way to pay tribue more »

Feed Me has released his first full-length EP on mau5trap since Feed Me’s Escape from Electric Mountain. His last few EPs were released on Sotto Voce Records, but his newest was completed while on tour with deadmau5, hence the logical release on his label. The new EP is titled Feed Me’s Existential Crisis, and it may not be as long as his last one but makes up for that in content. The individual tracks from the release express experimentation while staying true to Feed Me’s signature sound. The EP gets off to a very strong start with “Existential Crisis,” which more »

Swage Takes On Zeds Dead [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Remixes can be either wonderful or a waste of time (how many Purple Lamborghini remixes are out there?) but of course we’re not here to show you garbage. Swage has been on the rise for the last year or two making his way up the musical ladder with big bass house tracks and funky sets. His newest tune is a remix of the classic Zeds Dead “Hit Me”. For those of you who recall the energy of the original, you know that remixing an already legendary tune is kind of worrisome but Swage knocked it out of the park. The more »

Lektrique Talks New Music and Life with Trapstyle

Lektrique has been a consistent name in the music scene for a couple of years from his own productions to helping the hard-hitting Kannibalen Records with Black Tiger Sex Machine. His newest track “Shred” is an electro-destroyer that radiates heavy energy. We wanted to share that track with you and sit down to have a few words with Lektrique himself. “Shred” features Lektrique’s heavy, grinding saws and deep orchestral bellows that he robustly applies. The track opens with a funky, fidgety beat where upon a blasting guitar melts our faces off with long drawn out chords. A quick build delivers more »

I Am Sid – Y2038 [FREE DOWNLOAD]

If you’re into the grueling sounds of REZZ and No Mana then we highly recommend checking out I Am Sid‘s new single.  Y2038 transports us into a dark alley extremely vulnerable and unknowing of what’s to come. The tune itself moves at such a smooth pace, the outright assault the kick and bassline combination put on is something worth mentioning. There really is not much to say but this song is very perfectly dark and all we are left to do is let the music speak for itself. Grab the track for free now! Stream The Track Here: Follow I more »

Revive Los Clásicos Vol.2: The M Machine – Promise Me A Rose Garden

Joyryde – Hot Drum [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Joyryde has been a driving force in the bass house scene since his emergence a year ago. Keeping a theme of piston-pumping beats and fuel injected basslines, Joyryde isn’t showing any sign of hitting those brakes on his production any time soon. His newest release “Hot Drum” takes us along the freeway of funk to start off with some really wonky effects and detuned vocals echoing around us. The ride stops for a second to gear up for the gas-pedalling drop and brings a stretched out call of “If you’re ready, make some noise!” right before the bass come at more »
