You’d be hard-pressed to find a single person in the scene that doesn’t get excited about seeing the name What So Not on a release and Divide & Conquer was no different. Stepping a little into left field from what we’re used to from Chris “Emoh” Emerson (better known of course as What So Not), but this experimental sound was not in vain. It’s festival season and the trap gods have been very kind to us lately. What So Not & GANZ finally release their heavily anticipated collaboration. It fails disappoint any of our expectations as it starts off with such a haunting bassline along with detuned pianos to give it such an intimate atmosphere. Teaming up with the australian vocalist JOY, this tune has everything it needs to be one of the most memorable tracks this year.
