Smirnoff has banded together with global production school Point Blank Music School to reshape the industry for lady DJ/Producers. EDM is such a diverse industry that the subject has sparked hot debate as to why there is not more women DJ/Producers. Last year only 17% of major headliners at festivals were females and only 5% of producers were female. Update: A statement was released just earlier on Roberto’s radio show, Openlab saying ‘Robert passed away peacefully last night after a courageous battle with stage 4 metastatic cancer over the last 9 months’.
