Two weeks ago I sat down with Trevor Christensen aka Said The Sky at 515 Alive Music Festival. I have been a huge fan of his ever since I discovered Illenium. They released a track “Drop Our Hearts Ft. SIRMA” in 2014 and it changed my perception about melodic dubstep. We had many chillstep and some future bass artists before these two released this song, however I think Trevor and Nick have paved a way for a new breed of melodic dubstep and future bass artists. Under The Midwest Sky 515 Alive Music Festival Crushes Again!

515 Alive

This past weekend we headed to 515 Alive Music Festival to cover one of the best festivals in the Midwest. Last year they hosted the event in downtown Des Moines at Gateway Park. It was a great festival for being in a smaller city. However, this year they hosted the festival at Water Works Park just south of the city. This site which is much bigger than the previous park, housed camping for patrons 21+ and four stages. Seven Lions Gets Remixed

Is your hangover killing you this morning? If so, we have just the remedy for you. Or rather, Seven Lions and Said The Sky do. Said The Sky, a Colorado native, has added his own twist to Seven Lions’ track “Falling Away ft.
