Party Favor Brings Signature Sound With “WAWA”

Back with his first original release since dropping the 2016 #2 iTunes Dance charting ‘Party & Destroy’ EP, Party Favor presents new single, “WAWA.” The producer’s familiar mix of festival trap and bass is evident throughout the track’s explosive roars and wobbles, giving you three minutes of non-stop energy. The music video for WAWA is entertaining to say the least; centered around an underground puppy ring, the video pokes fun at illegal fight clubs which accompanies the music appropriately applying a high energy theme and comedic motif. It’s not out til Monday though so you’ll have to wait! Party Favor more »

NiGHTS Has Solidified Themselves with “IRREPLACEABLE”

Wonder, beauty, sadness, longing for. All these elements are brought forth by NiGHTS’ newest release “IRREPLACEABLE”. These boys are slaying what the kids these days call “the feels”. Our journey through sound begins with a shimmer of frequencies. A voice beckons us forward through the mist as a simple snap leads into a chill beat. Echoing ambient noise fades in and out while the minimal kick/snap beat marches forward. After a break to ponder our throughts, snares pan around our head as energy picks up ever so slightly. NiGHTS delivers a chill melody using vocal cuts that move up and more »

BIZZAR Storms The Musical Castle

When you swim in the grey, oversaturated ocean that is the electronic music scene for so long you come to find that there are fewer and fewer unique producers on the come up. Luckily when I heard BIZZAR’s first ever release I almost ruined my pants with excitement. BIZZAR walked into the gladiator ring with naught but his first release “Castle” and instantly became a new favorite artist of mine. This dude has got some pure, unadulterated, emotional music that pushes the boundaries of sound. The track opens with simple static and a quiet piano melody accompanied by a man more »

Matias – Bubble Gum

¿Qué opinas de more »

Joey BADA$$ and Oddisee: No Alternative Facts.

I listen to a lot of podcasts, in particular American comedy podcasts. A popular sentiment in light of the current political climate is that questionable times call for exceptional art. An expensive price to pay. Less than one week into the Trump presidential era, it seems that although we may be facing a turbulent time, the exceptional art is already coming dense and swift. Leading the pack is Joey BADA$$ with “Land of the Free” and Oddisee with “Like Really”. Both politically charged, they provide a somber, informative and most importantly (but not at all surprising) banging point of view. more »
