Under The Midwest Sky 515 Alive Music Festival Crushes Again!

515 Alive

This past weekend we headed to 515 Alive Music Festival to cover one of the best festivals in the Midwest. Last year they hosted the event in downtown Des Moines at Gateway Park. It was a great festival for being in a smaller city. However, this year they hosted the festival at Water Works Park just south of the city. This site which is much bigger than the previous park, housed camping for patrons 21+ and four stages. This year they had Excision, and GRiZ headlining with other giant national acts such as Gucci Mane, Hopsin, Tech N9ne, Mija, Pouya, more »

10 Years of Hard Summer

Hard Summer

A decade of Hard Summer was not only a cause for celebration; it was necessity. If you had attended any of the previous Hard Presents festivals or parties, you would be accustomed to an insanely well-curated lineup spanning all genres barring country I believe (not that there’s anything wrong with liking it, chill). This year’s 10th anniversary of Hard Summer was no different and in my opinion was one of if not the best Hard event I have experienced since Hard Haunted Mansion 2009 (it was lit, trust me). Project Z Is Bringing The Heat With Bass and Hard Dance

Coming to the NOS Events center of San Bernardino on August 12, 2017, Insomniac Events is bringing a stacked lineup of heavy-hitting artists to their Project Z party. Boasting 3 stages of heart-palpitating, gut-wrenching heavy bass and hard dance music, Project Z is set to be the heaviest party in California. So who’s playing this so called, end-all-be-all party of heavy parties? Glad you read far enough to ask! A few of the bigger names topping the lineup include Buygore owner and founder Borgore, Hardstyle legends D-Block and S-te-Fan, and Moody Good (who is probably the artist I’ve waiting the more »

Boogie T. Crushes “Bass Invaders”

Last Friday Trinium Event‘s “Bass Invaders” hosted a stacked lineup including Boogie T, Shiverz B2B Obey, and Al Ross at the Candela Night Club in Niles, IL. I can easily say that it was one of the best riddim shows that I’ve been to in months. I showed up a few minutes after doors opened at 9 o’clock, and the line was already so long I didn’t get inside until 9:30. I was really looking forward to seeing The Riddim Boyz because they totally stole the show when they opened for Megalodon‘s Jurassic Tour in May. Thankfully I caught the end more »

Soulstice Announces Last Minute Venue Change + More

Vital Events revealed the news of Soulstice moving locations. Earlier this week, the company released this statement It was very interesting to see how quickly they were able to turn a bad situation, to a good one. Fans should be incredibly optimistic as The Midway isn’t a venue you normally see pertain to EDM events. This new spot could be the spark of something great. Although the lineup took a minor dent with the loss of What So Not. Scheduling conflicts make it very hard to work around with, though Vital always toughs it out. Extending the festivities all day, more »
