Deadenders Take You on a Journey with ‘Aether’

Meet Deadenders, a new LA bass duo who sound anything but what their name suggests. This group may only have been visible for a couple months, but their first two releases would make you think they’ve been lurking in the industry for much longer. Pulling in 17k soundcloud streams on these tracks, these “two guys having a good time” have hit the ground running in quite an impressive way. Creative high energy sound design, clean and crisp mixes, and an attention to flow really set Deadenders apart from the early days of most projects. They not only demand your attention, more »

CHOMPA – Droidz (TSAU005)

Another track fresh off the press here at Trapstyle Australia, and this one comes from 24-year-old Perth guru Richard Tielemans, better known as CHOMPA. Now this certainly isn’t Richard’s first rodeo. CHOMPA, formerly known as Skywalker Richard, has had a plethora of past releases, most notably of these being bass music heavyweight Firepower Records, which has amassed 112k plays to date. (Listen to CHOMPA’s Firepower release here) So, getting down to business. With a name like CHOMPA you can take a fair punt at what the sound will be before you listen to the music, but Droidz caught me off guard and really wasn’t the heavy sound I more »

Tommy Walker & Jevi – What’s Wrong [PRIME]

With TrapStlye Prime our goal is to shine the spotlight on artists and producers who may not have the same outlets of sharing their music as others. We snagged a track up for free download on our TrapStyle Prime SoundCloud from Tommy Walker and Jevi entitled “What’s Wrong” to give these talented musicians some extra clout. The tune has an extremely interesting intro applying the use of warped bell sounds and a robotic voice speaking through the reverb. A solid beat is laid down with a nice hip hop feel as the track picks up energy. With a quick build more »

SwaggleRock x Holly – Lemme In [Premiere]

Bass music is the epitome of my soul. From the anquish of erratic frequencies to deep sub vibes of heavy 808s, I thrive on original and creative tracks. We recently got our hands on a banger of a hybrid tune, coming from SwaggleRock and Holly, two insanely talented bass producers. Both of these artists are highly skilled in an array of musical genres and having them collab on a tune is down right insanity. Their newest work of art, “Lemme In”, is a hybrid-bass, demonized ride through the darkness of sound. Starting off with a foreboding beat and paired with more »

Justin Hartinger & LEViT∆TE Unleash New Collaboration ‘Entity’

The two start things off in bizarre fashion as we are left with our ears intrigued to the sound of a guitar’s screech. Only to let us down by bringing in a minimal drum pattern, we begin to hear vocal chops along with a large and intimate pad in the distance. Things are about to get insanely weird but we shall continue hearing what the two producers have in shop for us. The song comes to a halt as we are greeted by that screech again except this time we are interrupted by a vicious brass and pluck combination. Along more »
