10 Years of Hard Summer

Hard Summer

A decade of Hard Summer was not only a cause for celebration; it was necessity. If you had attended any of the previous Hard Presents festivals or parties, you would be accustomed to an insanely well-curated lineup spanning all genres barring country I believe (not that there’s anything wrong with liking it, chill). This year’s 10th anniversary of Hard Summer was no different and in my opinion was one of if not the best Hard event I have experienced since Hard Haunted Mansion 2009 (it was lit, trust me). This year I was lucky enough to be invited to check more »

With the release of the phase 1 roster, things  were already looking prime for this year’s outing in Baltimore. This being Moonrise’s third return after the success they saw the last few years.  The people behind this festival definitely have some masterminds handling the bookings and making the decisions on who to lock in. This is evident with the events that Steez Promo throws regularly in the DMV area along with Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. From series like Bass Nation and Mega, the production company always seems to impress when it comes down to artist selection. This event making it’s return in more »

Disco Biscuits, A Water Park, Camping: The Return Of Camp Bisco

Music Festivals, they all tend to have prominent locations transformed year after year to host thousands of raving fans. Some festivals, unfortunately for one reason or another, end up leaving their initial locations in pursuit of a place that better fits the needs of the event. Other festivals just seem to disappear all together. Initially that was the fear for many with Camp Bisco, once held in Mariaville NY. 2013 was the last outing by The Disco Biscuits at the Indian Lookout Country Club and die hards of the annual massive were left waiting year after year in hopes that something more »

Add This To Your Playlist & Hit The Gym

Insomniac’s “Discovery Project” gives a platform to up and coming talent for the ultimate prize, playing the main stage. Joining the trap sounds of Biggs combined with the global/club sounds of the man behind Durp Supera Records yields some interesting results. This record more »
